Kristianopel Resort is the collective name for the business that currently operates Kristianopel Camping, Guest Harbor, Restaurant Pålsgården, and Hamnkrogen.

We are located in the idyllic Kristianopel with roots dating back to the 17th century.

Kristianopel was founded in 1599 by the Danish King Christian IV on a peninsula extending into Kalmarsund.

Today, the church from that time remains, along with a restored defense wall that is nearly 2 km long.

Kristianopel is a beloved destination for many tourists during the summer.

Many come from afar, and our guest harbor is filled daily with foreign visitors.

We are now looking for a caretaker for the period from June 10 to August 20 (summer vacation) who will help us, but primarily work with Peter, who is with us for the entire season from April to October.

As a caretaker, we want you to have a pleasant demeanor.

You will be the one meeting our guests every day out in the field.

Knowledge of how to use and maintain green area machinery is a prerequisite.

In addition, some maintenance and minor repairs on buildings will also be required. Painting, welding, changing door handles, fixing a drain.

It is important that you can understand the whole picture and take initiative.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement, and good knowledge of English and German is an advantage.

The job can be physically demanding.

Lawn mowing, trimming, weeding, emptying trash, cleaning the beach, etc. The list can be long regarding what your day may look like.

We prefer that you live in the local area, have access to your own car/A-tractor/moped, and are 18 years or older.

One thing is for sure, you will have a free job with your own responsibility, and you will be outdoors 98% of the time during the part of the year when our weather is at its best.
